Advanced Energy Now | West - 2019

Scottsdale, Arizona | October 16-17th, 2019

AEE convened 125+ key leaders in energy innovation, business, and government from across the western region to identify pathways to 100% Clean Energy in the region. The day and a half agenda reflected AEE’s core portfolio of work transforming policy to expand advanced energy markets in the West.

The morning plenary featured executive leadership from AEE’s member companies, including Cathy Zoi, CEO of EVgo; Yoav Lurie, President and COO of Uplight; and Prasanna Venkatesan, CEO, Landis+Gyr. The afternoon plenaries featured key leaders from state energy offices and public utility commissions across the West including Chairman Jeffrey Ackermann of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission; David Bobzien, Director of Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy; Chairman Bob Burns of the Arizona Corporation Commission; Sarah Propst, Cabinet Secretary of the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department; Laura Rennick, Energy Bureau Chief for the Montana Energy Office; Will Toor, Executive Director of the Governor’s Energy Office for Colorado; and Chairman Hayley Williamson of the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada.

Advanced Energy Now | East - 2019

AEE brought together 170+ business leaders and policymakers from across the region for an action-oriented day focused on identifying ways to accelerate advanced energy growth through state and federal policy. The conference began with a “fireside chat” with Michelle Patron (Director of Sustainability, Microsoft) and Alicia Barton, (President & CEO, NYSERDA) moderated by AEE President Heather O’Neill. The lunchtime plenary panel included state policy leaders from across the East and the day ended with remarks from Congressman A. Donald McEachin.
